Here is a pic Julie took of me and Becca lying in the meadow. Notice how Molly insisted on being in the pic. Just got this treasure via Becca’s photostream and thought I would add it to my blog.

How can you not love this sweet girl? My first dog and the best four legged friend a girl could ask for. She is 14 and every day she gets a little slower and sleeps a bit more. I am preparing myself for the day she gets to run the meadow in the sky.

What is life without great friends? Spent Saturday hiking the Uintahs with my friends Julie & Becca. This was our attempt at capturing the coolness of this wildflower meadow. Great smiles girls!

Lady: Twin Lake observance

Originally uploaded by bukowskigrl.

This is a photo of Lady overlooking the eastern Twin Lake. I love this picture: the cloud reflection, Lady’s 1000 yard stance and stillness that is present. Lady is a gentle dog and her personality fits with this photo.

Paddling for Shore

This is a pic of Molly from the Uintahs. This dog LOVES to swim. She must have swam halfway across the lake and back 15 times. Every time we were near water she took off, jumped in and then rejoined us. Any doubts that she is a Lab? I took this in B&W hoping for a cool shot….I think I got one.

Abbie

Originally uploaded by bukowskigrl.

Went to the Uintahs on Saturday with my good friends Becca & Julie. Between the 3 of us we had 5 dogs: Abbie, Molly, Lady, Timbre & Day-Z. It was a great day: 10 mile hike around Crystal Lake, getting lost for a short time, watching the dogs run themselves to exhaustion and a great picnic lunch. This is a photo I took of Abbie in the meadow above the lake we had our picnic. I’m not much of a photographer, but I think this photo turned out pretty good. Look through my pics to see more of our day.

Took our clients to the public library for their first day of photography. This is the single most beautiful library I have ever seen. I love to come here and sit, think, read, drink coffee…do whatever. Whenever I need to get away this is where you will find me. I took some fun shots of things around the library. We were encouraging architectural and design photographs today and I tried to do the same. Take a gander, there are a lot of interesting things hanging around Old Salt Lake.

By Law, it is illegal for me to post pictures of my school group on the internet. However, without faces I can totally show you the awesome art project we did today. We are taking Bikram Yoga this week to continue our quest to teach them meditation and mindfulness. To assist in this learning I thought making yoga journals would be fun. So, we pulled out all the scrapbooking supplies, grabbed some printer paper, gave directions and encouraged their creativity. I posted three pics, because these were my only ones sans faces. I love the different approach to each journal. I am excited to read all about their yoga experiences.

This is her Yoko Ono phase.

She is a truly beautiful creature. She is totally posing in this photograph. As my flickr account states “This dog actually stood on the top step and posed for about 5 photographs while I go the scene setting right. She totally belongs to the McIntyre family.. she is a total ham. I think she inherited that from her Uncle Nick.”

I took a couple new shots of the girls, playing with my camera now that I read the directions….Check ’em out.
