OK, so it is no secret that I am a huge information junkie. I mean, I think I am the only person only the planet who prays for the toughest syllabus before heading to the college bookstore. Fortunately for me, the magazine Real Simple made my “wildest dream come true” on Saturday with their most recent edition. MIT, yes the MIT where the smartest people on the planet attend, has made their undergraduate and some graduate courses free to the public on their website. Now, before you start fantasizing about getting a degree their in your down time, these classes are for edification only. You receive no credit and cannot register for other MIT classes.

You may be thinking, “What is so cool then?” The cool thing is the wealth of information provided. Some of the text books are available free online. If you happen to be a teacher (like a nursing professor….) you can supplement information you offer in your classes. Or, heaven forbid, you are a huge geek like me….you can download and read through course curriculum just for the hell of it.

So, I know…I know…it is not free health care or the discovery a subterranean race of beings, but it does present interesting insight and dialogue about the purpose and use of information. How with effort or curiousity we can work to improve ourselves, for ourselves, just a little bit each day.

So, if you are a super geek like me, or are just plain curious, go to their website:

Happy Learning! boasts of its online library as well as vast academic and professional resources including journals, newspapers and other reading materials that come in handy while writing dissertations. We continuously update our resources with the current materials to ensure we remain resourceful and reliable. We also have professionals from all academic fields to guarantee that your order is marched with a professional in your specific area of study.
